Dr. Jeffrey Evenson | Senior Vice President and Operations Chief of Staff  Dr. Jeffrey Evenson | Senior Vice President and Operations Chief of Staff Jeffrey Evenson joined Corning in June 2011. As senior vice president and operations chief of staff, Evenson serves on Corning’s Management Committee and oversees a variety of strategic programs and growth initiatives. Prior to joining Corning, Evenson spent seven years at Sanford C. Bernstein as a senior vice president and senior analyst. In this role, he formulated investment recommendations for data networking companies. Previously, Evenson was a partner at McKinsey & Company, where he led technology and market assessments for early-stage technologies. Evenson has a Ph.D. in physics from Harvard University and a bachelor’s degree in physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is a Trustee of the Corning Museum of Glass and the Corning Foundation.
